3.1.1. Detect files by type

File search by type is activated with Enable IntelliRAW™ scan task in the Advanced scan parameters setting dialog only after Search for deleted files task is activated and IntelliRAW™ rules count box is filled in. With this task the software will scan the whole partition space for deleted files detecting file signatures. This allows to make a more advanced search of deleted files and folders.
Files virtually reconstructed by type appear as scan result in Detected by type tree directory in File system explorer view.
