3.3. File search with “No file system”

If a required file system does not match any of the above mentioned, assume file system type as No file system. For No file system pure IntelliRAW™ scan operation is available only. The software will scan the partition for lost files focusing on file type identifiers. If the software can read a file system scan free space only and assume deleted files are fragmented tasks are enabled. With scan free space only the software will scan partition free space for file type identifiers. With assume deleted files are fragmented the software will detect file fragments and distribute them among detected files. More detailed information is in Part III, 2.2.1.
